Marusen Craft Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”).

Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, recipients of information in the following cases will not be regarded as third parties:
- When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
- When personal information is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger or other reason.
- When personal information is jointly used with specified parties and the individual has been notified in advance, or can readily learn, that the information will be jointly used, the categories of information involved, the scope of joint users, the purposes of use, and the name of the party responsible for managing the information.

When an individual requests disclosure of their personal information, the Company will disclose it without delay. However, the Company may decline to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure would result in any of the following, and will notify the individual without delay if it decides not to disclose the information. A fee of JPY 1,000 will be charged for each disclosure request.
- When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party.
- When disclosure may significantly interfere with the proper conduct of the Company’s business.
- When disclosure would otherwise violate laws or regulations.
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, as a general rule the Company will not disclose information other than personal information, such as history and attribute information.

- Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

- If personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request its correction, addition, or deletion (collectively, “Correction, etc.”) in accordance with procedures prescribed by the Company.
- If the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with a request under the preceding paragraph, it will carry out the Correction, etc. without delay.
- The Company will notify the user without delay when it has carried out the Correction, etc. or has decided not to do so.
- Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc.)

- If an individual requests suspension of use or deletion of personal information (collectively, “Suspension of Use, etc.”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the stated purposes of use or was obtained by improper means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
- If the Company determines, based on the investigation, that it is necessary to comply with the request, it will carry out the Suspension of Use, etc. without delay.
- The Company will notify the user without delay when it has carried out the Suspension of Use, etc. or has decided not to do so.
- Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if Suspension of Use, etc. would involve excessive expense or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures necessary to protect the user’s rights and interests are available, the Company will take such alternative measures.
- Article 9 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)

- Except as otherwise provided by laws, regulations, or this Policy, the Company may change this Policy without notifying users.
- Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect when posted on this website.
